Major General Andrian Nikolayev Dies, aged 75 It is with great sadness that we must report that Vostok 3 and Soyuz 9 Cosmonaut Andrian Nikolayev died on July 3rd from a heart attack. Andrian was the third Russian in space - a true pioneer.
